We are currently seeking a highly experienced and strategic CFO to join our client's executive team. As the CFO, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the long-term financial success of the company. Responsibilities: Provide financial leadership and guidance to the executive team and the wider organization Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making Evaluate and manage financial risks and opportunities Participate in fundraising activities and investor relations Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices Collaborate with internal teams, partners, vendors, and customers to ensure financial objectives are met Essential Job Functions: Lead the finance team and provide mentorship and guidance to team members Develop and implement financial policies and procedures Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize financial processes Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors Skills: Master's degree in Finance or MBA; CPA or CMA is highly desirable 10 years of successful experience in finance, FP&A, preferably in the energy sector Experience in renewable energy financing, including tax equity and project finance, is preferred Experience in financing federal energy projects via UESC and/or ESPC platforms is a benefit Ability to impact and collaboratively lead a diverse stakeholder group ranging from executive leaders to internal teams, partners, vendors, and customers Initiative, persistence, an entrepreneurial spirit, and energy with the desire to be part of a fast-growth start-up environment Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate solution value propositions to the executive team and the wider organization Salary: The CFO position offers a competitive salary of $200,000 - $275,000 base plus bonus, commensurate with experience.
