Summary

The CFO for BK Medical, a division of GE HealthCare Ultrasound, will partner with leadership and be responsible for providing overall finance leadership, governance and driving sustainable profitable growth and cashflow. This role will work with the CEO and leadership team of BK Medical to develop short-, medium- and long-term plans and execution capabilities across the franchise. Dual reporting to the BK Medical CEO and Ultrasound CFO, and in partnership with the BK Medical leadership team and other functions, the role will have accountability to serve our people, patients and customers, provide guidance and influence to deliver on profitable growth objectives, to anticipate and mitigate risks as well as manage complex issues (including integration and potential M&A) for the P&L.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for all day/week/month/quarter finance activities, metrics, forecasts, actuals performance, appropriate countermeasures in partnership with BK Medical leadership
• Proactively provide meaningful insights and decision-making suggestions to activate growth and implement margin accretion actions, leveraging capital allocation analysis.
• Partner with manufacturing, planning and purchasing operations solving for customer on-time delivery and revenue linearity
• Support in developing strategies, implementing changes, and creating programs responsive to the market environment / opportunity which positions the business for higher profitable growth, margin accretion and cash flow. Translate into a 3 to 5 year long-term strategic plan.
• Identify, develop and promote divisional finance/accounting talent responsible for ensuring proper staffing and support levels in the department by recruiting, mentoring and develop finance/accounting talent.
• Support any needs for Coordinate internal and external financial audits for the business and ensuring all legal, tax, statutory and US GAAP requirements are met.
• Lead the translation of strategy to an effective 1 year business plan and budget. Co-pilot their successful execution in an engaging and horizontal manner; partner with business leaders to cascade aligned priorities utilizing lean methodology
• Partner with the senior leadership team including the BK Medical CEO, Commercial and HR Officers
• Ensure key finance and business processes and controls are in place to pricing, financing, credit, balance sheet, cash, treasury and tax matters Develop standard work and continuous improvement of operational metrics.
• Partner with the leadership team to make the right decisions to uphold our purpose, culture and strategy
• Continue to input, prioritize, and align with BK Medical’s integration into GE Healthcare Ultrasound including prioritization and decision making on key business processes, IT applications and systems
• Enhance a solid cash conversion cycle and free cash flow conversion of BK Medical

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
• Experience of successfully working under intensity and a fast paced environment
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to add value to operating teams
• +10 years’ experience as an operating CFO/Finance Director/Controller/Finance Manager in a leadership capacity
• Working in a global, multi-cultural and matrixed organization. Experience of being a people leader

Desirable Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex issues clearly
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Finance is preferred. Fluent in English.
• Experience of M&A &/or business integration including evaluation of business processes and IT
• Certified Public Accountant. Demonstrated experience and understanding of Accounting Principles
• Strong knowledge of GE operating and financial operating mechanisms
• Experience in developing forecasts, operating plans and leading business / finance reviews.
• Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills. Experience of LEAN or Six Sigma
