Job Description
Position: Wound Care Nurse (RN)
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11203
Shift: Day, 5x8
Schedule: 8:30am - 5pm
Hourly Pay: $85

Summary: RN will treating patients with complex wounds, ostomies, or continence conditions. They work closely with members of patient care teams to ensure that personalized treatment plans are followed to prevent future infection or injury

Responsibilities:

  • Working with other members of the patient care team to determine if additional treatments or changes in care are required
  • Assessing and monitoring wounds, cleaning and bandaging wounds
  • Writing orders to expedite wound healing and avoid skin breakdown
  • Educating patients and caretakers on wound care, infection and injury prevention, and pressure ulcer (bed sore) care

Requirements:

  • Proof of Full Covid-19 Vaccination
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • AHA BLS
  • NYS License Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of (2) years of experience in Wound & Ostomy Care
  • Must have Wound and Ostomy Certification
