Certified Teacher Assistant (Elementary)

Responsibilities: - Work with small groups and individual children on instructional projects - Provide the teacher with information about students that will assist the teacher in the development of appropriate learning and behavioral experiences - Assist children in the use of available instructional resources, and in the design of instructional materials - Utilize their own special skills and abilities, by assisting in instructional program areas, such as visual and performing arts, physical education, etc. - Provide supervision of students during non-instructional times of the school day - Engage in professional development trainings - Work hours is from 7:20 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Salary and Compensation: Salary: $20.48-$39.66/hour Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Qualifications: - NYS Teacher Assistant Certification, required - 2 year of previous professional experience working with elementary school students, highly preferred - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, required
