Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - full-time

The Children's Center for Communication and Beverly School for the Deaf (CCCBSD) continues to offer exceptional school-based programs for children (ages 3 to 22) with unique learning, developmental, and communication challenges. The CCC and BSD Programs support 80+ students with a wide range of cognitive, physical, and developmental needs.

We are seeking an experienced full-time occupational therapy assistant (COTA) to join our team of four professionals who support the needs of our students. The occupational therapy team partners with a larger therapeutic and clinical team including: physical therapists, speech and language pathologists, nurses, assistive technology specialists, vocational professionals, and a curriculum team.

CCCBSD occupational therapy assistants provide integrated therapy opportunities for students ages 3 to 22. They provide direct one on one and group support to students while working collaboratively with classroom staff. CCCBSD provides a 204 day schedule for students, with traditional school vacations and a 24 day summer schedule. This position starts July 10, 2023 and includes training with the Director of Occupational Therapy. Pediatric and Developmental experience preferred. Completion of an accredited COTA program and MA license required.
