The company has enjoyed over 20 consecutive years of revenue growth and is consistently profitable.

THE POSITION

Reporting to the Chairman and updating the Board as needed, the CEO will be responsible for the day to day operations of the company. The Chairman will provide strategic guidance but the CEO runs the company and has full P&L responsibility. While the sales force is 100% commission-based, the CEO needs to have a strong understanding of operations and ideally has a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate degree. · Own the monthly Profit and Loss statements including actual versus budget variances and authoring the annual budget. Responsible for gross profit ratios and steadily increasing sales volume annually.

· Lead the 25 person outside and inside full commission based sales team and the additional 25 person staff consisting of a CFO, Operations Manager, Sales Manager, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Job Quote staff.

· Strategically monitor the sales force commission compensation structure and adapt to changes in vendor and manufacturer requirements.

· Lead the Product/Market matrix and evaluate product lines, adding or subtracting lines as needed.

· Maintain and enhance all vendor relationships, meeting the demands of the vendors.

THE INDIVIDUAL

This person must be able to lead the management team and define the “identity” of the company in the marketplace. He/she will create a Mission Statement for all employees to follow and possess the ability to rally the employees behind them and possess the “power of persuasion”. The CEO must lead through their own work ethic and reinforce a culture of returning to the office. The CEO must have industry knowledge, understanding how to go to market and how to position large job proposals to lock a spec. The ideal candidate has previous P&L experience growing a related business with a commission-based sales force and an engineering component added to a commodity product.
