Job Description
Our client is a German based company with multiple manufacturing plants in the US.


This position will be reporting to the board members at our headquarters in Germany.


Summary


  • Ensuring the corporate goals by implementing the defined strategies and permanent adjusting to changing market conditions
  • Definition of corporate goals and strategies for all plants in the U.S. in close coordination with the Board
  • Business development and the corporate success of the company in the U.S.


Tasks


  • Driving innovation by developing new production methods and processes as well as opening up new markets
  • Making investment decisions in close consultation with the board
  • Leading, motivating and developing employees
  • Define, implement and regularly review corporate strategies conducive to achieve all short, mid- and long-term corporate goals in close coordination with the Board.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal company guidelines
  • Constant monitoring of company results, sales performance, liquidity and cost structure using KPIs and all relevant analysis tools
  • Development and implementation of sales strategies to increase sales success in close cooperation with the Director Sales and Project Management USA
  • Development and implementation of concepts to improve work processes to increase efficiency and quality in close cooperation with the Plant Managers
  • Establishment and maintenance of networks with relevant business partners


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in managing multiple plants in an international organization
  • Experienced in working in global structures

  • Extensive commercial and business administration experiences
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Good knowledge in plastics injection molding and tool technology
  • In-depth commercial and business administration knowledge

  • Engineering degree or comparable education and work experience
