Cds Us Mail Carrier

Seeking a mail carrier for a highway contract route based out of Pima, AZ. Will be responsible for sorting/delivering mail and packages to rural communities in the general Pima area.

Ideal candidates will be reliable, efficient and able to meet deadlines. Job will require the ability to work on your feet all day, bend/squat and lift heavy objects. Shift would run from approximately 7am until finish with route, with some free time in the middle of the day depending on the variable workload

Responsibilities:

Deliver mail on foot or by vehicle.
Sort mail in a quiet location.
Load/unload mail from vehicles.
Interact with community members while making deliveries.
Handle customer complaints.
Uphold all USPS standards of service and protocols

Requirements:

• Clean motor vehicle record
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Able to pass a USPS background/drug screening
• Ability to lift up to 75+ lb

Work Schedule:
Part-Time: Monday through Saturdays.
Time: 7:15AM until the route is finished
U.S. Government Holidays observed
Vehicle stipend available for candidates providing their own qualified vehicle. It is require to use your own vehicle to deliver. Preferable SUV.
Pay-rate: $80 - $200 per day [Includes Benefits]
