Cdl Garbage & Recycling Driver

Drivers wanting to be on our team will have a knowledge of the general area, a desire to do their best, be friendly & work Monday - Friday. Garbage/recycling experience preferred but we will consider training for the right candidate.

Local work, Monday - Friday. Day shifts - no working nights or odd hours. We are located in Hillsboro, but work in Beaverton, Cornelius, Hillsboro & Washington County.

Responsibilities:

• Be able to lift at least 50 lbs and push/pull over 100 lbs..
• Be able to safely operate multiple styles of collection trucks.
• Safely operate a collection truck while on residential & business streets & industrials areas.
• Follow all traffic laws, rules, and regulations as well as trucking company policies.
• Complete other tasks as needed on route.
• Maintain and keep accurate route notes, inspection sheets and other driver records.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• Commercial driving: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Air Brake Endorsement (Required)
• Commercial Drivers License (Required)
• CDL A or B (Required)
