Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Requires knowledge of General office practices, procedures, equipment, and technology.
Requires skill in Delivering high quality, customer-focused service. Reviewing documents for conformance with procedural requirements. General clerical functions including data entry and the use of spreadsheet, database, word processing, presentation, and other software.
Communicating effectively with coworkers, supervisor, and the public. Generating enthusiasm and support for program objectives.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED equivalent and at least four years of experience working in a legal setting or in the legal profession; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:
Work is typically performed in an office-like environment. May work in high conflict situations and with difficult, sometimes dangerous parties. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, fingering, lifting, and carrying. Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated Light Work.

Interacts and serves as a liaison to appropriate court personnel. Prepares documents and forms for processing, submits documents to the court, and releases documents to the public. Files paperwork in accordance with court filing procedures. Photocopies, scans, e-files, processes, stamps, records, files, distributes, and routes court or other legal documents to appropriate parties or departments. implements actions to ensure the least amount of time awaiting trial as possible/practical. Tracks cases from arrest to disposition. Assists individuals in filing or obtaining copies of court documents.
