About This Role:
You will perform general carpentry tasks, to include maintenance and repairs to general building structures, shelters, playgrounds, painting, and decking. You will inspect buildings and other structures to determine functionality of the systems and detect malfunctions, and also make needed repairs.

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related carpentry and building maintenance experience.

Preferences:

• Familiar with computers and the ability to use a computerized maintenance management system
• Carpentry and construction skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in creating and completing work orders
• Time management skills
• The ability to lead a team of maintenance workers
• Experience in other trades- such as plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building maintenance
• Customer service skills
• Work order software experience

Special Requirements:
Valid Driver's License.
Must pass local, state, and federal background check.

Work Schedule:
The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
Maintenance Operations are located at Locust Shade Park in Triangle, VA.

Starting Salary Range:
$28.42 - $30.45 Hourly
