Summary: Utilize company vehicle to deliver products and provide services while assisting with maintaining relationships with doctors, case managers, and hospitals to obtain business referrals and ensure smooth operational processes and performs the following duties:


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Listen to and resolve service complaints appropriate to scope of practice. Follow Resolution Team protocols in reporting client input.
  • Educate patients with relation to their home medical equipment to facilitate safe and effective equipment use and desired care, treatment, and service outcomes.
  • Perform other duties or special projects when necessary.
  • Recognize and adhere to infection control practices that reduce the risk of infections in patients and organizational staff.
  • Promote safe, effective patient plans and organizational environments and equipment use.
  • Record deliveries information on delivery log.
  • Recognize and respect patient rights during the provision of care or services and conducting business relationships with patient and the public in an ethical and professional manner.
  • May generate manual delivery tickets and patient service request forms.
  • Obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
  • Clean inside of truck and equipment and keeps clean and dirty supplies segregated.
  • Ensure that routine maintenance is performed on assigned vehicle.
  • Support patient care, treatment, and service in a continuous and coordinated manner, in settings appropriate to meet patient needs.
  • Participate in on-going education, including in-services, training, and other activities, to maintain and improve individual competence.
  • Maintain stock in established consignment closets.
  • Support HME Specialists' Mission Statement, vision, and values.
  • Assist Account Representative(s) with customer engagement in order to drive sales; Ask every customer for their next referral.
  • Drive vehicle to deliver and pickup equipment as assigned.
  • May have to communicate with and setup equipment for company's customers that may be of all ages.
  • Drive safely and follows all traffic rules and regulations.


Job Type: Part-time


Salary: $16.50 plus commission

FAR Group has a requirement for a Psychiatrist to the institution Health


Services Department at MDC Brooklyn to conduct examinations on patients scheduled by the


institution medical staff. The Candidate will include conducting psychiatric evaluations and


making referral recommendations for inmates at MDC Brooklyn.


Requirements And Qualifications


  • The candidate shall provide psychiatry services which conform to all local, state, and


federal laws and regulations applicable to the delivery of psychiatric care to members of


the general public. The services being non personal and professional in nature, will be


provided in the method as considered appropriate in the local community and in line with


Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC) The candidate


will also conform to all Bureau of Prisons (BOP) policies, procedures, and clinical


guidelines as applicable to psychiatric services. The BOP physician will have the final


authority to approve or disapprove any and all treatment plans and recommendations by


the candidate.


  • The candidate shall have current certification in their chosen field of expertise that


permits them to practice and to perform psychiatric services in the State of New York for


the duration of the contract. The Candidate shall have obtained a Doctorate degree of


medicine or osteopathy from an accredited university program, completed a residency in


psychiatry, be licensed to practice medicine in at least one of the United States, be


board certified, and be otherwise qualified/certified to perform the required services and


hold a current license to practice in the State of New York.


  • The candidate will complete an Application for Appointment to medical staff and request


privileges. The candidate will submit and complete all necessary information needed to


provide a complete credential file as defined by the Program Statement 6027.01. This


applies to consultation services rendered in house or through tele-health services.


  • The candidate shall make direct entries into the inmates' Bureau of Electronic Medical


Records: (BEMR), including the patient's history of present complaint, objective


findings, assessment, proposed treatment, and follow-up recommendations.


Method Of Performance


  • The services to be provided are professional in nature and will be commensurate with


AAAHC standards of care. The methods utilized will meet medical practices established


in the local community. These services although not directly supervised, will be reviewed


periodically by the HSA at MDC Brooklyn. The performance of these services will be


monitored by the POC of the Facility.


  • The HSA will retain professional responsibility for all patients referred to the Health


Services Department.


  • The candidate shall adhere to all applicable, state, local, and federal regulations during


their performance


  • The Government may evaluate the quality of professional and administrative services


provided, but retains no control over the medical, professional aspects of services


rendered. (e.g., professional judgements, diagnosis of specific medical treatment).


Record Management


  • The candidate shall submit consultation sheets (provided by the institution medical staff)


that provide all information pertaining to services rendered, including, but not limited to


medical evaluation and treatment plans.

  • Information provided by paper or BEMR shall be signed, authenticated, legible and


completely address all aspects of assessments and management of the patient examined.


  • Inmate records are the sole property of the Federal Bureau of Prisons and are


confidential. No medical record shall be released by the candidate to any person without


prior approval from the HSA or designee and the FOIA/Privacy Act Branch of the Office


of General Counsel in Central Office, Washington, DC.


Inmate Management


  • The candidate will not be responsible for the supervision of inmates. The candidate will


report any infraction of rules and regulations by any inmate to the designee.
