Schedule: Day Shift
Johns Hopkins Community Physicians is looking for a Cardiac Sonographer at our Heart Care practice in Bethesda, Maryland. The Cardiac Sonographer will perform a range of echocardiographic studies to diagnose a variety of vascular diseases, illnesses, and disorders under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager. Examinations may include Transthoracic, Exercise, and Pharmacologic Stress Echocardiograms.
Location: 6410 Rockledge Dr, Ste 200 Bethesda MD 20817
Status: Non-Exempt - Casual On-Call - 10 hours per week - 7am - 3:30pm
Requirements:
Associates Degree in Cardiovascular Vascular Technology acquired from an Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEP) - accredited diagnostic ultrasound program required
Registry eligible according to the guidelines established by The American Registry Of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) NOTE: Any Cardiac Sonographer must obtain registry upon employment.
Six months of clinical scanning experience in a ambulatory care based environment. Scanning performed within an approved clinical internship will be considered adequate experience.
