Cannabis Packaging Tech Jobs

Viridian Staffings ( www.viridianstaffing.com ) Client is looking for Temporary Packaging Technicians to help with packaging duties during a very busy season for a cannabis company in the Joliet, Illinois area. Please note that the work week is Monday-Friday and there are 1st shift (7 am - 3:30 pm) and 2nd shift (4 pm - 12:30 am) positions available. This position will start on or around June 1 and go for 29 calendar days. For workers who do a great job, there is the potential for this to convert to a permanent position.

As a Packaging Technician, you will help to measure cannabis products, package the product, and then label the product accordingly. You will also get to help collect samples and perform tests to ensure quality. You may perform a variety of other processing tasks as needed. While experience packaging cannabis is not required, you should have experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to closely follow standard operating procedures is required. You should also have the ability to sit, stand, twist, and kneel for up to 8 hours. Requirements

• Eligible to work for a licensed Cannabis company in the State of Illinois
• Ability to sit, stand, twist, and kneel up to 8 hours
• Willingness to comply with OSHA regulations
• Ability to work in a GMP Certified environment
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Pay Rate: $15/hour
