Responsibilities
This position is an internal flex (VSP) role and will have varying hours (typically 20-40 hours/week). Although this person will have the opportunity to work a full 40 hours, that is not guaranteed. There are benefits provided such as PTO and 401K matching.
The Candidate Experience Representative - VSP assists with professional interview scheduling, booking travel, and ensuring an overall positive candidate experience. This position also performs advanced administrative/ operational/ customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. This job will serve as an ambassador for the recruiting team to both internal and external stakeholders and promote customer service excellence. This job is highly versatile and visible, requiring an exceptionally high sense of urgency, ownership, professionalism and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage communication with leadership, hiring managers, candidates, and recruiting team
- Coordinate and manage the logistics of the hiring event materials
- Provide full operational support to recruiting teams including interview scheduling, travel arrangements, providing interview feedback, and candidate escorting to deliver a superior experience to both internal and external candidates
- Act as liaison for candidate scheduling between the recruiters, hiring leaders, and candidate to ensure a smooth interview process
- Drive consistent administrative support processes to ensure a positive experience for both the candidate and hiring team
- Participate in special projects focused on the overall Candidate Experience as needed
- Act as a primary point for candidate’s interviewing onsite in the Louisville KY area creating a positive candidate seamless interview experience
- Helps to manage the candidate expense and career mailboxes
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience regularly coordinating / scheduling meeting and/or interviews with multiple parties on a weekly basis
- Demonstrated professional demeanor and emotional intelligence
- Work-At-Home Requirements: must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense. A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required. Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role. A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast paced and highly visible working environment
- Highly organized
- Demonstrated communication (written and verbal) skills
- 3+ years of relevant administrative/coordination experience
- Must be able to travel into Humana offices based on business need
- Working knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Recruiting or Talent Acquisition experience
