Salary: Up to $75,000

Job Summary

The Cafe Manager for R/A at Hult International Business School is responsible for the successful daily operation of the campus cafeteria.They will be expected to maintain R/A brand standards, lead a team of employees, and ensure quality and sanitation standards are exceeded.

This position is generally Monday through Friday (an occasional weekend may be required, based on business needs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plans, markets and executes special events/promotions in the cafe
  • Hires, supervises, trains, and coaches associates.
  • Manages cafe and coffee bar operations
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Operates within the budget and identifies new ways to improve the business
  • Ensures compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred
  • Operational knowledge of cash handling procedures and food service equipment
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
