Job Description
Position Summary


CAD Technicians produce the product that is the heartbeat of our design process.


Key Roles


  • Research Recorded Document
  • Comprehend Bearings and Distances
  • Drafting Permit Drawing


Essential Job Functions


  • With great attention to detail, reviewing blueprints, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation
  • Revising and updating existing drawings, reflecting design changes as needed
  • Maintaining open dialogue with the Project Manager to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, within budget, and mistake-free
  • Researching recorded documents, drafting complex permit drawings, and providing quality control
  • Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, and more complex drawings
  • Keeping track of document notes, design calculations, and other materials for future reference

  • Ability to maintain accuracy and prioritize deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pay attention to detail; be reliable, accountable, and self-motivated
  • Ability to remain discrete with confidential information


Education And Experience


  • Understanding of civil engineering codes
  • Knowledge of commonly used engineering concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Advanced computer skills with programs such as Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Microstation, Small World, and ESRI GIS platforms
  • Well-versed in AutoCAD design software
  • High school diploma or equivalent


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
