Job Description
smartdept. inc. is searching for a CAD Drafter for a hospitality client based in Tuscon, AZ. This is a fully remote, contract opportunity expected to have between 20-30 hours of work per week. The hourly pay for this position is $25/hr - $35/hr.


What You’ll Do


  • Work cross-functionally within the studio team
  • Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and development partners
  • Assist in the creation of marketing collateral and lease plans for housing communities


What You’ll Need


  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) required
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, Rhino, AutoCAD, and/or other 3D modeling programs required
  • 2 years of demonstrated experience in architecture or interior design preferred
  • Strong conceptual thinking, rendering, and sketching ability
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, industrial design, environmental design, architecture, visual communication, or related field
  • Experience planning, documentation, and management of graphic design projects in the context of the built environment
  • Keen knowledge of architectural construction documentation required
