Job Description

Transforms engineers' and technicians' rough product designs, using computer-aided design (CAD), into working documents.,,,

  • Performs other job-related duties as required.,,,,,
  • Assists program manager with archiving drawings in an electronic format.,,,,,
  • Develops and promotes standard operating procedures.,,,,,
  • Participates in mentoring, training, and development of student staff.,,,
  • Supervises the work of CAD student workers.,,,,,
  • Monitors electronic format of drawings and other related documents received from outside sources.,,,,,
  • Assists various departments within Facilities, Planning & Construction in their presentation and computer aided design needs.,,,,
  • Assists in the identification and evaluation of new technologies.,,,,,

Qualifications
Bachelors and 1 year experience


Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.
