Cad Drafter - Catia V5 (Fort Worth, Tx)

We are looking for a CAD Drafter for our client, a leading global security and aerospace company. Main function of position will be creating drawings from 3D models/designs. Possible manipulation of existing 3D models.

This contract position is long-term with funding approved till 6/62024, extensions 40 hours in a work week (4 10 hour shifts weekly. This role is onsite supporting our client's Fort Worth, TX. facility.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities

• Determines scaling required; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning; prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations.
• Plans, layouts, draws, and revises part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, notes and discussions with engineers, and standard data
• Completes layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices or may develop complete major layouts of engineering drawings.
• Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or manual tools...
• Prepares complete production detail drawings; contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience with MPRSII/EDFS is highly desired.
• 2+ years of experience as a drafter creating drawings from 3D models.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
• 2+ years of experience with CATIA V5

Compensation: $16/hr - $58/hr
