What will you do?

Our Buyer will be responsible for selecting and purchasing quality products for our business. Responsibilities will include processing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, creating and maintaining an inventory, quality assurance, and coordinating with management.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate current material prices, lead times and rolling schedules.
• Research new raw material supplier and subcontractor options for all company locations.
• Assist with developing and maintaining vendor qualifications/assessments.
• May need to analyze multiple potential vendor solutions and make sound purchase decisions based upon price, availability and internal customer requirements.
• Purchase raw materials, fabricated parts, paint and accessories from current approved vendors.
• May work direct with vendors to negotiate pricing.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years purchasing/buying experience.
