Job Description

Position: Business System Analyst / Product Owner

Location: Alexandria, VA

Level: Senior

Work Model: Hybrid (around 2 days per week onsite)

Number of Openings: 2


Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least six years of experience in software development and associated life-cycle processes and expert knowledge within the field in which the candidate's solution is being implemented.
  • High degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles
  • Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including a wide variety of mechanisms, e.g. dashboards, APIs, real time alerts, etc.
  • Agile SCRUM experience
  • At least one year of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development.



Day to Day


As the Sr. BSA, you will support a high-performing software development team as a Lead Business Analyst and functional team Product Owner in building new features for a data-intensive DoD web application enterprise supporting the readiness of our nation's military. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are key for success in this role, as you will regularly meet with senior military officers involved in plans, policy, training management, and readiness assessment.
