About This Position

The Prototype Planning Resource Analyst is responsible for creating, managing, and reporting prototype parts budgets for development projects and supporting department level manpower and indirect budgets. Is the subject matter expert regarding short-term (1-2 years) and long-term (3-5 years) resource forecasts, collaborating with development team leadership and other management to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities Include

• Establish forecasts to be used for simulating overall costs for investigating new projects. The information will be provided to RBP and presented to 4MOC in order to determine budget responsibility for future lineups.
• Oversee the creation of annual prototype part budgeting. Create and control monthly reports to management regarding budget status as well as manage the final landing forecast for the fiscal period.
• Ad hoc data reporting as necessary.
• Provide written, verbal and presentation document to report group, unit, department, and overall organizational performance measuring the effectiveness of strategic directives and the current state of key performance indicators. Identify issues of significance and escalating time sensitive issues to management.
• Liaison to IS for creation of digital dashboards for evaluating workload and project status
• Manage forecasting tool for prototype part budgets, adapting to changes in market conditions, line-up variations, and new technologies as they impact project scope. Able to navigate complex data sources and condense into a clear presentation to be made for management approval.
• Create and manage current ki and long-term prototype part budgets for HDMA development models. Individual project budgets will be presented to HDMA executives for approval at Quantity Authorization/Appropriations Request (QA/AR) meetings. Interface with external stakeholders (Development Team Management, Resource Business Planning (RBP)) regarding the details and creation method for project budgets.

Who We Are Seeking

• 4 Year Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or Other Related Field
• 3-5 years of related experience
• Microsoft office products, especially advanced Excel skills, strong data analytics, SAP experience.
