Business Intelligence Developer Jobs

This position offers the option of a hybrid work schedule, with three days working in the office and two days working remotely. If you do not currently live in the South Sioux City, NE area, this position offers relocation.

We are adding a Business Intelligence Developer to our IT Development team. In this position, you will have a direct impact on the business; you will design and build the next generation of business intelligence tools under the QlickSense Platform. We are seeking a motivated professional to train alongside a group of experienced developers. You will find yourself challenged by the variety of programs and departments we work with daily - it's not just insurance. You must be forward-thinking in designing, creating, and implementing data solutions that help our business units make efficient and effective decisions for the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the Agile and Project Management methodologies from planning to execution (i.e. requirements gathering, decomposition, development, etc.) in support of department or organizational projects.
• Manage multiple projects, shifting priorities as needed to produce accurate work product, all while meeting established deadlines.
• Participate in collaborative design sessions with organizational stakeholders and business owners to design, build, and deliver reports, dashboards, and applications to meet business goals.

Qualifications:

• Formal education in MIS, CIS, Math, Computer Science, Data and Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Experience with or understanding of financial statements; knowledge of basic Accounting Principles a plus.
• Proven ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Self-motivated, attention to detail, passion for solving problems, and eager to learn about emerging technologies.
• Experience with QlikSense, Tableau, and Power BI preferred.
• Must be willing to participate in an on call rotation schedule.
