Summary
General Statement of Duties:
The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst responsible for creating reporting and visualizations to support our various businesses and help finance inform leadership of or financial position and key analytics. This position will report to the Manager, Financial Performance Management will support the Financial Planning and Analysis team members. The Analyst is involved with the entire BI process from data gathering to database structure, Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) work, report design, and creation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps to duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
  • Chart creation and data documentation explaining formulas, parameters, models, and relations.
  • SQL querying for best results, use of filters and graphs for better understanding of data
  • Provide innovative solutions in the BI development space and provide a pattern for business teams to consume and build BI artifacts using enterprise-guiding principles.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics.
  • Preparing reports for management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
  • Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, where possible, within the BI reporting: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, etc.
  • Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI
Qualifications
  • Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and jump between projects is crucial.
  • Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analysis
  • Experience with Adaptive OfficeConnect a plus.
  • 2+ Years Prior experience required in Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics, Engineering, Statistics, Finance or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, or related field, required.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerBI a must.
  • Team-working, Verbal and Written communication skills.
  • Proven working experience in data visualizations.
  • SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
