Job Description
Inside the Role
Analyzes data and develops reports on the overall performance of business segments; develops metrics to measure various characteristics of the business. Combines a good level of understanding on how business operates with analytical ability to sift effectively through data available, overlaying all this with the technical competency to illustrate this analysis to senior level stakeholders and the wider business. Utilize methods of combining charts, maps, timelines and infographics into comprehensible dashboards; may create visualizations and data sets in a user-friendly and easy-to-understand way to facilitate business decision making.

Position offers a starting salary range of $56,000 - $71,500 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
  • Assist in providing technical analysis and coordination for on site joint inspections with the component supplier.
  • Combines a good level of understanding on how business operates with analytical ability to sift effectively through data available, overlaying all this with the technical competency to illustrate this analysis to stakeholders and the wider business
  • Assist in technical warranty claim appeals and assign responsibility.
  • Resolve warranty issues with corporate and field personnel, dealers, distributors and fleets
  • Analyzes data and develops reports on the overall performance of business segments; develops metrics to measure various characteristics of the business
  • Assist in coordinating with Service Engineering to ensure proper failure diagnostics.
  • Interface with repair facilities to assist in resolving warranty claim issues.
  • Utilize methods of combining charts, maps, timelines and infographics into comprehensible dashboards; may create visualizations of data sets in a user-friendly and easy-to-understand way to facilitate business decision making
  • Analyze technical warranty issues by gathering and reviewing warranty / service documentation, vehicle/engine/exhaust after treatment design details and dealership diagnostic and repair practices.
  • Interface with internal departments, repair facilities and suppliers to gather information, report findings and assist in the decision-making process concerning warranty claims issues.
  • Assist in failure analysis, through examination and testing of failed engine/ exhaust after treatment system components, in the Return Material Room.
Knowledge You Should Bring
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, understanding of truck or automotive technology, product knowledge and a working knowledge of PC-based software
  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented and possess good judgment and have a high degree of initiative
  • Strong interpersonal and computer skills
  • BS/BA and prefer 0-2 years of relevant experience or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
  • Experience with Alteryx, Web Focus, Tableau, Power BI, Azzure, or Python software preferred
  • Able to write SQLs and develop Trap Reports preferred
