In our continued transformation from a real estate company to a customer experience company, we are seeking an IT Business Analyst who will optimize IT’s efficiency through liaising between business users and the technical team. This position will report directly to the Application Manager with geographic flexibility to work remotely offered by Tanger’s hub-and-spoke approach to a modern Teams-driven workplace.
About the Role:
As the IT Business Analyst, you will engage users to document processes, define business requirements and translate those artifacts for development. You will coordinate IT development initiatives from discovery to release including scope definition, scheduling and release management.

How you will contribute to what we do:
- In conjunction with the Product Owner, assist maintaining the product backlog and articulate backlog themes/epics to aid in road-mapping.
- Initiate discovery meetings with internal business partners to define processes, requirements, and the ideal user experience.
- Create and maintain user stories and acceptance criteria for revised features or enhancements.
- Collaborate with the development team to refine requirements and deliverables including process flows and storyboarding.
- Present or “demo” new features and enhancements to the business for approval.
- Facilitate, design and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as required.
- Validate software requirements and designs with all stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot application specific user errors that the help desk escalates.
- Analyze processes and recommend improvements, efficiencies, and technical solutions.
- Forge strong relationships with all internal business partners.
- In conjunction with the Applications Manager, keep stakeholders informed of projects’ statuses and mediate any scope changes.
About You:
- You are comfortable engaging business owners of all levels, end users, and engineers alike, and translate each groups’ language for the appropriate audience.
- You are self-motivated and willing to learn new things.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Real Estate or equivalent experience in a related field and one (1) plus years of experience in project management. Relevant experience with the commercial real estate industry, two (2) years of Agile/Scrum experience or a Scrum Master certification, and experience with an agile platform is preferred.

- Your are excellent at visualizing and documenting processes using charting software (LucidChart, Visio, etc.).
- You can independently own smaller tasks from conception to execution.
