They are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis with the potential to convert depending on performance. ***Contract length may extend or convert after six months and candidates may be required to attend onsite meetings quarterly in Fort Mill, SC or Austin, TX.

Job Summary:

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for facilitating effective communication between our client and their stakeholders, ensuring that all business requirements are met. Your expertise in client and stakeholder engagement, SLAs, managed services, and product delivery will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of solutions to meet the client's needs. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a prestigious retail organization, making a tangible impact on their operations and overall success.

Responsibilities:

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and retail domain knowledge.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients and stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and effectively communicated.
• Monitor and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to guarantee the quality and timely delivery of managed services.
• Collaborate with the client and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and implementation, to ensure smooth product delivery.
• Identify areas for improvement, proposing innovative solutions to enhance business processes and systems.
• Conduct impact assessments to evaluate proposed changes and communicate potential risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables.
• Act as a liaison between the client and the development team, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather and validate business needs and expectations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the retail industry or related field.
• Experience working with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and managing client expectations related to managed services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software.
• Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements, using tools such as user stories, use cases, or process flow diagrams.
• Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product delivery processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose creative solutions.
• Strong understanding of client and stakeholder engagement principles, with the ability to effectively manage expectations and build relationships.
