Job Purpose

In this highly visible role, you will be a part of the inside sales team and function as a collaborative partner with outside territory sales managers within the sales organization. You will report to the Inside Sales Manager and frequently interact with the Executive Leadership Team. You will be highly involved with forecasting and demand planning as well as analyzing sales patterns and creating ad hoc reports to support sales efforts. Due to the wide range of analytical activities in this role, you will also interact with manufacturing, marketing product development, purchasing, IT and finance departments.

Main Responsibilities

• Leads monthly forecasting cycle from the demand planning perspective, working with the sales teams, supply chain team, IT, finance and manufacturing.
• Utilize forecasting tool (Kinaxis) to report on changes to the forecast based on sales trends and external updates.
• Ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Leads the pricing and quoting process for key customers within an assigned region and improves the transfer of information during price changes.
• Responsible for independently leading monthly discussions to share key data and develop strategies that will deliver on measurable goals and ensure competitive advantage.
• Prepares accurate and clear reports on sales data trends for internal and external audiences.
• Gathers and analyzes data to understand problems and address them proactively.
• Supports the development of analytical tools and case studies with a focus on overall continuous improvement.
• Interacts directly with customers during pricing and program updates.
• Participates in annual Territory Business planning process, supporting the development of sales forecasts, and contributing to the Sales & Operations Planning process (S&OP).

Education & Experience

• Experience with Kinaxis Rapid Response and QAD are plusses.
• 2-4 years of working experience, with at least 2 years working closely with Excel
• Experience working in a cross-functional team.
• Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other data/numbers driven fields such as Engineering or IT.

• Able to understand, process and transform large data sets and present the results in a clear, meaningful way.
