Our client is embarking on a significant software project, and we are looking for an accomplished Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role. This project is expected to revolutionize our software landscape and drive efficiency and innovation across our organization. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with the project manager, business stakeholders, and vendor project team to ensure the project's success.

Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Analysis: Conduct comprehensive business and system requirements analysis, working closely with project stakeholders. Document findings and translate them into actionable insights.
2. Requirements Documentation: Gather, define, translate, and meticulously document business and system requirements to guide the project's development.
3. Process Optimization: Document business processes and workflows, focusing on improving efficiency and ensuring logical practices within the organization.
4. Use Cases and User Stories: Develop detailed use cases, user stories, and test scenarios to guide the software development process. Oversee test plans, functional testing, and validate the solution.
5. Gap Analysis: Identify gaps in existing business processes and the software system, proposing effective solutions.
6. Communication: Effectively communicate findings, plans, and progress to cross-functional team members and senior management.
7. Stakeholder Engagement: Collect crucial information through stakeholder meetings and generate insightful reports to drive informed decision-making.
8. Solution Alignment: Ensure that the software solutions align with business needs and requirements, striving for optimal outcomes.
9. Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the vendor to aid in the development of procedures and ensure alignment with project objectives.
10. Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and end-users, facilitating effective communication and understanding.
11. Project Monitoring: Monitor project deliverables, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and according to specifications.

Qualifications:

• Project management experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in documenting requirements, creating workflows, and developing use cases and user stories.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience overseeing test plans and ensuring quality assurance.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to work with external vendors and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on IT software implementation or upgrades.
• Adept at identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing efficient solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
