Obtains and utilizes subject matter expertise with a responsibility of articulating functional requirements for efforts that deliver measurable value and success for the product and Trek as a whole.


Demonstrates clear communication skills, verbal and written throughout the SDLC. Facilitates meetings and discussions and assists in making recommendations on semi-complex solutions. Excellent communication and documentation of feature requirements, decisions made and status of work. Has intermediate software development, database, e-commerce, customer service principles which help in understanding business requirements to be executed through technical solutions. Displays advanced interviewing and analytical skills, and can work independently to arrive at needed requirements. Team oriented and demonstrates ability to lead, assist team members to deliver quality stories when needed.


Will provide technical requirements for Data Integrations developers using Scrum and Kanban methodologies. The candidate is also familiar with RESTful API’s and understands basic concepts of HTTP. We are a fast-paced team that interacts with all areas of the business.


Position Responsibilities


  • Facilitation of meetings and documents requirements, workflows, diagrams, and decisions/action items
  • Clearly articulate status and decisions made as part of the agile development process
  • Delivery of story requirements, ability to articulate and write stories according to written and verbal standards
  • Manages and coordinates epic process with cross functional teams on semi-complex projects to aid in the completion of feature development.
  • Responsible for ushering a business idea from initial brainstorm to production, in the form of a feature or series of features.
  • Assists team members when needed. Demonstrates ability to lead.
  • Understands basic concepts of coding, data architecture, e-commerce, customer service principles
  • Moderate experience with eCommerce, CMS, POS, IMS, Integrations to 3rd party software, etc.
  • Displays advanced interviewing and analytical skills, and can work independently to arrive at needed requirements.
  • Research solutions, assess current and future state for requirements gathering and story writing.
  • Facilitate discussion and assist in making recommendations on semi-complex solutions during idea generation, brainstorming sessions, and solutions oriented discussions.
  • Uses a variety of tools and methods to communicate clearly with business partners, vendors, customers, and design and technology staff to analyze and identify opportunities to enhance mobile and web applications.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree with three or more years’ experience in business and/or systems analysis
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle including testing and release management techniques
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Broad IT Domain experience in two or more of the following areas:
  • Strong risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Knowledge of traditional waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and across multiple teams
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with data analytics


Bonus Skills


  • Experience working with GDPR in a PCI compliant environment
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Experience with Identity management systems
  • Using Postman is a plus
  • Experience using Token-based authentication is a plus
  • SOA and Microservices is a plus
