GENERAL FUNCTION: Helps to identify and define systems and business line (LOB) needs and requirements. Coordinates development and support for new and existing applications or product solutions. Primary liaison between line of business, operational support and information technology. Partners with the business unit to develop a solid knowledge base of the business line, including the business plan, products, processes and revenue streams. Coordinates business requirements definition, development, testing, implementation and support for new and existing systems or product solutions. Identifies, researches and analyzes production problems, develops solutions and coordinates resolutions. Possesses a broad understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Oversees enhancements in order to maintain productivity and efficiency.


Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Provides input into the creation of detailed project plans, work assignments, target dates and other aspects of assigned projects.
  • Plays a key role in the planning, testing and implementation of process and project enhancements and IT conversions.
  • Works with users in defining user, system and project requirements for new systems and system enhancements.
  • Identifies system enhancement, documents business needs and determines development impact to current processing.
  • Review operational procedures and methods and recommends changes for improvement, with an emphasis on automation and efficiency.
  • Partners with relevant parties, including LOB and IT in the research and resolution of system and process issues.
  • Ensures system enhancements follow the appropriate guidelines, meet or exceed user requirements and are completed in a timely fashion.
  • May act as a project leader role for projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • May perform some aspects of Project Management including but not limited to Approval gathering, Readiness Assessments, and other artifacts and controls.
  • Maintains manuals, standard business and status reports, technical and product training material and reference material.
  • Provides guidance and context in prioritizing and determining complexity of problems and requests.
  • Work with LOB and users to ensure accuracy of enhancements.
  • Possesses a solid knowledge base of the business line, including the business plan, products, and process and revenue streams.
  • Identifies, researches and analyzes production problems, develops solutions and resolves problems.


Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required


  • Proven leadership experience in areas of Operations, Manufacturing or Quality.
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP preferred.
  • Possesses a broad understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
  • Minimum four (4) years’ work experience in Operations, Commercial, Treasury Management, or related experience.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to facilitate large groups toward the development of common solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of project management experience.
  • Ability to present to senior leadership on sensitive subject matters.
  • Proficient in Windows based software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).


Working Conditions


  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.
