Business Analyst I (Regression Testing)

Position Summary
The Regression Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for ensuring quality by planning and monitoring daily automated regression testing and by helping the regression team to continually improve regression test cases.
Essential Functions
Analyze business and functional requirements, features, user stories for creating test cases. Monitor the execution and results of nightly regression testing, analyze and act on their results (i.e., create new JIRA tickets for any issues that need addressed by the development team, or to update TAC scripts). Perform data and test case validation. Contribute to continuous improvement in processes and procedures. Participate in review meetings to identify gaps in functional requirements and regression test cases.
Create requirements to address those gaps. Assists developers in identifying the cause of any defects found during regression testing to ensure timely resolution. Contributes to identifying scope of testing/test planning/optimization of test conditions.
Ensure that bugs are properly identified, documented, tracked, and fixed.
