General Purpose

The City of Commerce City is looking for a Building Inspector III to join our team! As a Building Inspector III, you will be responsible for conducting complex and specialized building inspections to ensure compliance with established codes, ordinances, and state building codes. This position requires thorough knowledge of building trades, laws, practices, and procedures, as well as computer software. You will work under minimal direction and be expected to provide training and technical assistance to other building inspectors. Additionally, you will mediate disputes between contractors and building inspectors to ensure compliance with all building codes. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently. If you have a passion for ensuring safety and compliance in the construction industry.

Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.

The hiring range is $68,699 - $85,874/annually ($33.03 - $41.29/hourly)
