Job Title: Budtender/Retail Personal Service Provider

Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Budtender/Retail Personal Service Provider to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their cannabis-related needs, including product recommendations, sales, and educational support. You will also be responsible for ensuring a clean and organized retail environment, maintaining inventory, and following strict compliance guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, needs, and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Effectively handle cash transactions and operate a point-of-sale system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization by regularly restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and performing general store maintenance.
  • Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the retail sale of cannabis products.
  • Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Take part in ongoing professional development by attending training sessions and staying up to date with industry trends, new products, and technology advancements.
  • Promote a positive and educational experience for customers by making appropriate product recommendations based on individual preferences and needs.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, effects, and usage methods.
  • Assist customers with product selection by providing accurate and relevant information about different strains, concentrates, edibles, and other products available.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of local and state regulations regarding cannabis sales and ensure compliance in all aspects of daily operations.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with local and state laws relating to the retail sale of cannabis products.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding customer information and transactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer requests simultaneously.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of cannabis strains, products, accessories, and their effects.
  • Strong cash handling and point-of-sale system experience.
  • Proven experience in a retail or customer service environment, preferably in the cannabis industry.
