Description:

Performs breast ultrasound exams at a breast cancer screening facility. Safely ensures quality images. Participates in the department continuous quality improvement process. Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients. Estimated pay range for this position is $34.25 - $44.53 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications:

Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer ARDMS & ARDMS Registered Breast Sonographer. Additional Qualifications: Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Ultrasound Technology or Radiologic Technology. Previous breast sonography experience required. Six months experience in an acute care setting preferred. Active ARDMS certification in at least 3 specialties, 2 of which must be related to department clinical needs and 1 of which must be RVT specific.
