Job Description

Position: Brand Narrative Lead

Contract: Through Company's Fiscal Year (05/31/2024) + Extensions

TRAVEL REQUIRED

Location: Ideally NYC or LA - but flexible for remote candidates willing to travel for on-set production.

Desired Skills:

  • Proven ability to drive high level brand narrative campaigns.
  • Strong digital acumen – knowledge of how to create and write for different channels and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior.
  • Strong experience in managing agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver the highest caliber work.
  • Skilled at enabling the best work from agency partners.
  • A minimum of 6 years creative experience in an editorial, content marketing, brand marketing or related creative field – and in a sports related industry.
  • Strong ability to sell in ideas to all levels of organization.
  • Proven origination of innovative storytelling across multiple categories.
  • Huge passion for storytelling and for sports, ideally experience with Consumer Products/Services
  • Ability to work well in a cross functional team that is spread across several cities.
  • Ability to see stories and angles where others don’t.

Day to Day:

You will lead complex workstreams independently and direct others in order to develop well-crafted narrative that expresses the heart and soul of the brand, leveraging athletes, products and services to inspire our consumer. The work in North America will range from editorial storytelling, product innovation storytelling, sport moments, athlete plans etc. You will work from strategy through concept and finishing with premium executions at all levels across all channels. You will need to communicate your concepts to various internal and external audiences. As a creative lead, you’ll be responsible to take on feedback from various stakeholders and drive the development of work to ensure that all work is delivered on time in partnership with studio management and production. 80%+ of projects will require an on-set production, and once they are in execution phase, this person will be required to Travel to be on-set during production.
