We are seeking a talented Brand Creative Designer to join the Richardson marketing creative team. As a Brand Creative Designer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing creative solutions that align with Richardson’s brand strategy and elevate our brand identity across various marketing channels, including digital, print, and physical retail.
Who We’re Looking For
You are an intentionally collaborative, team-oriented, and solutions-focused storyteller able to craft effective creative, from narrative to experience to production. You understand the intersection of creative thinking and brand strategy. Your experience is diverse, including marketing campaigns, sales tools, photo direction, graphic design, brand standards, copywriting, packaging, moving images, and environmental design. You have been exposed to collaborations with agencies and other external parties.
Who You’ll Work With
This role will report to Richardson’s Art Department Director, but will embed with the Marketing team and dotted line to the Marketing Director. You will also collaborate with and help guide external partners and agencies.
Brand Creative Designer Responsibilities
· Establishing and formalizing Richardson brand standards including identity, voice and tone, personality, applications, and guidelines
· Designing brand content, including graphics, illustrations, ads, sales tools, catalogs, and other creative for a variety of marketing channels and internal stakeholders
· Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns
· Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
· Ensuring brand consistency across marketing projects
· Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies
Brand Creative Designer Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field, or 2-4 years of brand design experience lieu of a degree
· Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
· Knowledge of web and email design tools a plus (Figma, Webflow, XD, Mailchimp, etc.)
· Ability to apply and perform design skills, including drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, color theory, use of texture, art direction, visual presentation development, and layout
· Experience working on integrated marketing campaigns
· Experience in branding, visual identities, and graphic systems
· Ability to distill briefs to showcase your thinking in creative ways that effectively communicate concepts
· Great communication and collaboration skills
· A keen eye for visual details
· Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities
