Job Description
DASKK Hotels and Resorts is looking for the right candidate. This candidate must be ready to be part of something special. This 249 room hotel is going through a multi-million dollar renovation to become a boutique hotel that remembers that all customers are part of our family and puts their needs as a priority. As a growing hospitality company, we are looking for an experienced Hotel Sales Manager to oversee the sales and marketing operation. Duties/Responsibilities:
  • May assist in implementing and/or participating in special promotions relating to direct sales segments i.e. sales blitzes etc.
  • Monitor and evaluate trends within your market segment.
  • Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals as well as solicitation call goals.
  • Maintain strong visibility in the local community and industry organizations as applicable.
  • Adheres to RIMA management established regulations company standards sales standards and sales metrics related.
  • Proactively conduct solicitation calls conduct sales tours and entertain clients specific to Leisure SMERF Business Travel (BT) and/or Groups as applicable by property.
  • Attend daily/weekly/monthly meetings and any other functions required by management.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive friendly courteous and service-oriented manner.
  • Develop full working knowledge of the operations and policies of the hotel and applicable departments.
  • To be a Change Agent that is focused on ensuring all clients are treated like family.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by the General Manager or Director of Sales.
  • Grow existing relationships with assigned accounts specific to Leisure SMERF Business Travel (BT) and/or Groups as applicable by property.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Experience with professional selling skills desired: opening probing supporting closing.
  • Responsible for effectively soliciting and securing new accounts.
  • Must be able to attain assigned goals tied to the overall performance of the hotel.
  • Must possess developed verbal and written communication skills to frequently negotiate convince sell and influence other managerial personnel hotel guest(s) and/or corporate clients.
  • Must be able to work in conjunction with the Director of Sales to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals for one or more properties.
  • Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks; strong organization and presentation skills.
Educations and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; previous
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Office products
  • Hotel Sales experience required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
Physical Requirement:
Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, or crouching.
