Job Description

We are currently looking for a:

Boomers Vista Shift Manager: Pay Rate $17.00-$25.00/hr
Roles & Responsibilities:

Boomers Vista is looking for a fun, energetic and great customer service relationship builders to join our management team. The Shift Manager provides leadership, supervision and direction to positively impact business at Boomers Vista .

Must have OPEN availability and flexibility to be scheduled based on park needs. This includes nights, weekends, and any holidays including major holidays. We do not schedule around other employment or personal responsibilities. Please keep this in mind when submitting your application.

This is a variable hour seasonal position reporting directly to the General Manager and Assistant GM. OT as required. Duties include but are not limited to working with other Supervisors, leads, guest experience, attractions, and staffing. Responsible for motivating team members and instilling accountability while maintaining our culture of FUN!

Other responsibilities include Management support as required below and any additional responsibilities assigned by GM:

  • Work alongside and in cooperation with other Supervisors and Leads
  • Positive relationships with subordinate employees
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction by providing excellent and superior customer service
  • Completing all opening/closing checklists and reports as required by Palace Policy and/or the Park General Manager
  • Opening and Closing Key Holder
  • Management of Labor Costs
  • Preparing weekly corporate required operation packets for Weekly Accounting, Sales Audit, and Checklist Audits
  • Learning all aspects of the Operation and taking every opportunity to grow in this support role

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Inventory Management and Reporting
  • 1 year of supervisory experience is required
LANGUAGE SKILLS – Bilingual/Multilingual is a plus!
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups, guests, Team Members, and managers of the PALACE FEC organization.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
REASONING ABILITY
  • Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. These situations may involve Team Members and guests.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form.
