Job Description

Wilbanks Law Firm, P.C., is looking to hire a full-time bookkeeper and administrative assistant. Primary responsibilities include using various software tools including Quickbooks to manage accounts payable for law firm and to manage the income and expenses of estates, as well as assisting in the liquidation of estates.Such work would include coordinating with vendors and service providers for real estate holdings within estates, communication with heirs and beneficiaries, preparation of annual reports for submission to area probate courts.We would be happy to teach and train a dependable and enthusiastic candidate with a background in bookkeeping in those areas where they have no experience.There is room for growth in this position depending on interest and skill.

Admin:mail and bank runs daily, maintenance of office supplies, shared responsibility for phone/front door when receptionist and paralegal are unavailable.

The position is primarily work in the office and the candidate would be based in Commerce, Georgia, with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Required Qualifications/Skills

Detail-oriented, organized, consistent, dependable, and honest

Analytical / data-driven mindset; good with numbers and spreadsheets

Obsessive focus on timelines, deliverables and client satisfaction

Enthusiastic about learning new skills

Optimistic and upbeat

Comfortable working sometimes solo and capable of integrating with a focused and successful team.

Experience with Quickbooks

The Ideal Candidate Might Also Have:

Bookkeeping / finance / accounting background

Experience in legal industry

Experience with Microsoft software (e.g., Word, Excel)

Strong spreadsheet skills

Experience using project trackin

Self-Starter comfortable working independently

Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal skills

Compensation

$35,000-$47,000 depending on experience

10 days starting PTO
