Boiler Plant Operator Jobs

Boiler Plant Operator Ferris State University. Perform skilled trades work in operating and maintaining boilers and associated equipment of University owned property. Currently the anticipated shift for this position will be M-F, 3:00 pm 11:30 pm. Assignment requires availability to work weekends and evening shifts as needed and respond to emergency calls. Required to carry pagers. If required by job duties, employee must be able to fulfill the University requirements concerning issuance and use of University keys. Required: High school diploma or GED equivalency. Valid drivers license. Valid City of Grand Rapids High Pressure Boiler Operators license or equivalent certification for 1st or 2nd class stationary engineer per State of Michigan Board of Boiler Rules. No additional work experience needed beyond what is required to obtain the Boiler Operators license.
