Billing Specialist - Remote | Wfh

Join our dynamic billing and coding team where you will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable, enhancing patient satisfaction, and ensuring the financial health of our organization. As a valued team member, you will be responsible for generating monthly patient statements, diligently pursuing outstanding claims, resolving third-party payer denials, and delving into the intricate world of third-party payer regulations and reimbursements. Additionally, your contributions will extend to assisting colleagues with various billing tasks, such as payment posting, explanation of benefits (EOB) report reviews, claims management, HSP audits, and other financial responsibilities.
Location:
This is a remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere. However, we do require candidates to reside within driving distance of our sites across Montana or Wyoming, as occasional travel to our clinic site(s) may be necessary.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $15.75-$16.39 (Depending on Experience)

Education/Certificates/Licenses
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Required
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license
Preferred
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certificate
Certified Professional Biller (CPB) Certificate
Experience
Required
Six (6) months of experience in community health and/or physician’s office billing and coding
Proficiency in math and computation
Preferred
Familiarity with electronic medical records
