Job Description

Billing Specialist


Summary

The Billing Specialist is responsible for supporting the accounting department and ultimately enhancing our service delivery to business partners. This role performs many accounting, customer service, and operational tasks to promote the financial health of our organization. This is an in-person full-time role, working out of our Glenmoore, PA office.


Responsibilities

· Supporting the Revenue Manager and VP of Finance in generating and distributing monthly and project-based invoices to customers.

· Work with our Sales and Contracts teams to identify customer billing schedules and payment terms and establish the structure in the accounting software.

· Collaborating with customers and internal business partners to resolve any billing inconsistencies or errors.

· Apply customer receipts in the accounting software and proactively identify potential collection risks.

· Routinely monitor outstanding accounts receivable, meet weekly with the Revenue Manager and pursue overdue accounts receivable.


Skills

· Excellent verbal, written, and time-management skills.

· Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with all functional departments.

· Able to anticipate needs, innovate and flourish in a high volume, fast paced environment.

· Proven ability to adapt and be flexible to change.

· Familiarity with Quickbooks preferred.

· Ability to apply initiative and judgment to define and perform tasks, sometimes complex, and see the bigger picture.


Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred

· 1+ years of related work experience

· General understanding of the facilities service industry is a plus
