The Opportunity
Are you curious about how Adobe manages their law firms and legal matters? Do you have a keen eye for detail and real passion for numbers? If these questions intrigue you, join the Adobe Office of the General Counsel team! We are looking for a Legal Spend Analyst to join the team in San Jose. You will be focused on key operational and financial tasks that support the effective and efficient running of the legal department. While working on a variety of operational projects to help drive cost savings and staffing improvements, you will be exposed to Adobe corporate culture, including our core values which play a key role in Adobe routinely being recognized as one of the top global software companies for work experiences.
What you'll Do
Administer electronic billing solution (Serengeti), including corresponding with law firms and internal teams for matter creation, invoice review in accordance with our Outside Counsel Requirements, invoice approval, and system administrative controls.
Initiate onboarding process of new firms and legal vendors and maintain vendor information.
Research payment status of invoices in SAP and assist with clearing any errors.
Support accruals process with Accounting.
Assist with management of external counsel and vendor relationships.
Maintain PowerBI dashboard for Outside Counsel spend.
Other related duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed
Finance, Economics, or Business major preferred.
Strong preference for legal e-billing experience
Accounts Payable/Procurement
Professional Services
Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Analytical skills including problem-solving and identifying trends.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-system environment keeping a balance between accuracy and handling high volumes.
Ability to prioritize work load, work independently, and handle and raise issues as required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).
Ability to be flexible, creative, and inventive.
Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do demeanor.
Must rigorously observe confidentiality.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $42,800 -- $100,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
