Billing / Insurance Department Jobs

Description:
We are looking for a motivated, responsible individual seeking a full time billing position to join our speech therapy office in Stony Brook.
Our office is open Monday-Saturday, with weekday hours varying from morning/afternoon to evening, and Saturdays from morning until early/midafternoon. Our billing schedule is usually Monday-Friday 9-5, but at times may vary. Responses without resumes will not be accepted.

Requirements:
Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Aging Reports
• Good internet skills; knowledge of word, excel
• Exceptional time management skills - must be able to manage a wide variety of tasks with complete follow through
• Excellent communication skills: over the phone, e-mail, fax
• Posting Payments
• Positive and upbeat attitude
• Answering Patient questions
• Creating Spreadsheets
• Checking Benefits
• Meticulous and thorough work ethic
• Ability to operate standard office equipment (fax, copier, scanner, etc.)
• Authorizations
• Highly organized
• Accurate data entry
• Calling Insurance Companies
• Billing Patients
