Job Description

The Billing Coordinator is responsible for customer invoicing for ONS and its affiliates. The Billing Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to ensure smooth and efficient invoicing and collections processing.


This is a REMOTE (work-from-home) position. Occasional travel to the Pittsburgh, PA office may be required.


Responsibilities


  • Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction through the invoicing and collections process.
  • Demonstrate and support a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Responsible for maintaining current tax-exempt certificates for department (s) customers to ensure a current exemption is on file.
  • Monitor and track outstanding customer balances to ensure timely collections.
  • Coordinate with ONSE department(s) to gather data for invoicing.
  • Assist with customer interactions, including but not limited to providing excellent customer service by promptly responding to invoice-related inquiries or requests.
  • Reconcile payments received and update customer accounts accordingly.
  • Address any billing discrepancies or issues in collaboration with internal departments and customers.
  • Complete general administrative tasks in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate collections, track payments, and resolve outstanding balance issues.
  • Provide duplicate invoices/copies to customers as requested.


Required Skills


  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using financial software, invoicing systems, and CRM tools.
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills.


Education And Experience


  • 3 – 5 years of invoicing, collections, and A/R experience.
  • Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Pay Range


Oncology Nursing Society uses a market-based approach to pay. Pay rates are established considering the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified periodically based on market analysis.


Anticipated Pay Range: $39,930 - $46,419 annually.
