In this position, you will act as a voice of the end-user to guide day-to-day work of a smaller scale team, focusing on achievement of defined outcomes versus defining how the work is completed.

Transform
As the billing and payments data product owner of the Enterprise Billing and Payments value stream, you will partner with other data product owners and functional leads to define and deploy a modernized data ecosystem supporting Guidewire and payment capabilities at the center of this journey-led transformation. You will use your experience and ability to influence and guide others to help set direction for the ensuring alignment to long term strategy and essential business outcomes within a team. This position will be a key member of the team driving this transformation across the company focused on critical business analytic and reporting needs.

You will apply strong business acumen and leadership in partnership with your technology counterparts to enable teams to achieve their goals. You will work closely with your product owner, circle leadership and vendor partners to help create and operationalize a new customer, employee, and agent billing & payment experiences while delivering results in service to business strategy. You and your team will align capability requirements to reporting & data strategy needs while executing & supporting data profiling and mapping activities. You will work with key Enterprise Payments and billing functions to contribute toward translate exciting new customer / agent / employee experiences.

Unleash
This position will strategically interface with key business and technology stakeholders to execute an enterprise model to optimize and drive efficiencies in billing process across multiple lines of business. You will translate key requirements to stories needed to satisfy critical analytic and reporting needs. Working with your product owner you will help craft critical elements of team features and key enablers. • Provide feedback on work-in-progress, clarify requirements and contribute to removing roadblocks or impediments; Look for opportunities for continuous team and process improvement.
• Share best practices across teams to ensure alignment and consistency in ways of working within a value stream.
• Own team backlog, including prioritization and refinement; Make trade-off decisions to maximize value.
• Act as voice of the end-user; have a deep understanding of and respond to customer feedback ensuring needs and requirements are clearly defined; ensure team work product meets defined acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Circle Leads and peers to effectively communicate resources required to achieve defined business outcomes.
• Define, prioritize and ensure a ready backlog of work for a smaller scale product team, accept final product output, focusing on achievement of defined outcomes versus defining how the work is completed.
• Understand and implement team goals and strategy, ensuring alignment with circle and value stream vision; Articulate team goals and strategy effectively to key stakeholders, Circle Leads and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Inform and participate in business readiness; understand the impact of change, implement the approach to manage adoption and mitigate resistance.
• Optimize the flow of value by setting objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for solutions.
• Effectively manage a backlog of deliverables and capabilities as well as 'test and learn'/experimentation targeted at defining/refining future deliverables, measuring performance and adjusting the overall roadmap of deliverables as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Two years of experience in Agile product management preferred.

• Two years of work experience in related field required.
