Job and Ideal Candidate:

We have an outstanding billing and finance team, which has a stellar track record while providing great customer service to patients.

The Billing Team is looking for a candidate who can multi-task and take on any of the following processes:

• The Billing Team also works through denials and open accounts receivables and corresponds with insurance companies to obtain reimbursement.
• Code and assess submitted procedures and recommend or make adjustments to the CPT, ICD-10, or modifiers to align with proper billing guidelines.
• This position may include submitting prior-authorizations and verifying eligibility and benefits for surgery patients.
• The Billing Team is also responsible for responding to telephone and email correspondence and assisting in the resolution of internal and external customer needs.
• They will maintain a high-level of accuracy whether, coding, posting payments, or working accounts receivables.
• This position may include posting a high volume of insurance and/or patient payments.

Qualifications:

• Successful in time management
• Alignment with the values and mission of Vanguard Skin Specialists.
• Excellent verbal and written skills required. Customer service experience a plus.
• Minimum typing speed is 50 wpm
• Proven track record of working well on teams and delivering excellence.
• Precision, attention to detail, and organization are all critical for the job
• Dermatology billing and coding is preferred
• Full cycle billing experience is a plus
• Successful candidates for this job will have strong analytical skills

Schedule:

This is a full-time, 36-hour, position with business hours Monday to Friday. This position is based out of Colorado Springs. This position requires at least 3 in-office working days with the flexibility of 2 remote days, post training completion.

Reviews:

Vanguard Skin Specialists believes in providing regular feedback and encouraging professional development. Your first informal review will be approximately 90 days from your date of hire, after that you will be included in the next of our upcoming semi-annual spring or fall review cycles for your formal reviews. This will be your first compensation review, and thereafter your compensation reviews will occur in that cycle (fall or spring) annually.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation is $21-30 an hour with eligibility for overtime and paid time off. The practice covers a portion of the premium for medical benefits and offers vision, dental, and 401K. The position also comes with Paid Time Off, Graduate School Stipend, bereavement pay, Paid Maternity & Bonding Leave, and Employee Discounts on products and aesthetic services.

Physical Working Conditions:

• The other 10%, occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office printer, etc.
• Be able to communicate accurately, effectively, and frequently
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90%
• Can identify color on the computer and software used
• Operate a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, printer, copier, scanner, or fax
