Job Description

Signature Properties is a growing real estate acquisition and management firm specializing in multifamily residential properties. We are looking for a leasing agent that would be responsible for the day-to-day leasing and marketing operations of an apartment community as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participates in monthly outreach events.
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of local market and conditions. Identifies area competitors in order to complete market surveys and stay abreast of market conditions.
  • Provides prospects with brochure, floor plans, and all collateral material.
  • Processes all rental applications for approval; verifies all pertinent information and submit to manager for approval.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Inputs all guest cards and other sales related information into property management software on a daily basis.
  • Responds to phone inquiries; provides complete information on the apartment, the property, and area information.
  • Play a key role in resolving resident concerns and issues.
  • Presents the property, model, vacant unit, and amenities to prospects in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Supporting the office and maintenance team by answering phones and performing other administrative tasks.
  • Ensures that the Sales office, models, vacant units, and common areas meet Signature standards on a daily basis and report deficiencies to Property Manager.
  • Establishes and maintains good relations with residents, prospective residents, all customers, and co-workers.

Qualifications:

  • Must be bilingual English and Spanish speaker

  • At least 2 year of customer service, sales or office experience is required, preferably in residential property management.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; some college preferred.
Customer service, sales, and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Must be willing to work on weekends and holidays.
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of the Microsoft Office and Property Management Software such as Yardi
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with residents and customers in a professional manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly rate $17.00 - $19.00 + Commission
